Powder and trees in Storanosi
--------------------------------------------------------------- VERSIÓN EN CASTELLANO MÁS ABAJO --------------------------------------------------------------- Last weekend of January, looks like is gonna be a really crappy weather in Bergen. Nothing new right? Well, it is the first bad weather weekend this year, so nothing to complain about. This week has been quite warm (for Norwegian standards, still quite cold for southies) and the avalanche report (level 3) is not encouraging us to do anything steep or exposed. My 3 basic rules are in order of importance: 1) make it back home 2) do something cool in the mountains 3) do it with good friends/cool folks. Lander enjoying the pow in the steepest line in the forest. Since spending the whole weekend in town is never an option, I start the weekly process of making up a plan and convince some other guys that is a good one. I manage. We'll go for Storanosi (1205moh), a north facing mountain in Vasstrondi with quite fun
